The whole of our Sixth Form engineering group had the great privilege of welcoming Morgan Sindall Group, the large construction company employing over 6,700 people, to the college.  Along with one of their environment managers, the company brought with them a wealth and breadth of experience including the lead digital engineer, three apprentices and a site engineer.

The company gave a very detailed, interactive talk to the students about the world of civil engineering, the opportunities and experiences provided and the means of obtaining employment within the industry.  The students then took part in a structure building competition where they put their own understanding of structures to the test with guidance from the qualified engineers.
